Pam Ennis is part of the 889 Yonge Medicine team. Pam has completed five years of Osteopathic training from the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
With a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Pam uses manual palpation techniques to help improve and restore overall function of the individual. An Osteopathic philosophy is one that believes in the body's innate ability to heal itself. The goal of an osteopathic practitioner is to remove barriers to this healing process, by investigating for what is causing the dysfunction instead of just treating symptoms. Osteopathic principles are rooted in the knowledge and discovery of organic laws through scientific research into the anatomical, physiological, and psychological structure and function of the human being.
Indications for osteopathic manual therapy include:
- Musculoskeletal pain - back, neck, and joint pain
