Cancellation Policy

To hold a reservation in our Wellness Spa, we require a valid credit card number with an expiration date. This applies even if you intend to pay with a gift card. We will not charge your card unless you miss your appointment. If you should need to cancel your appointment we ask that you do so by phone 416.925.7206 on the day prior to your appointment by 6:00pm. If you are unable to notify us within this cancellation period, cancellation fees will be charged. For appointments in Private Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga, the full amount of your missed visit will be charged. For Body Treatments, Facials, Waxing and Registered Massage Therapy, 50% of the service price will be charged. For members who have reserved a spot in a yoga class using our online reservation system ahead of time, we require 30 minutes notice of cancellation. Failure to notify us of your cancellation will result in a $5 cancellation fee. This fee will be charged to your credit card on file. Cancellations for yoga class reservations must be made using our online reservations system at www.889yoga.com. 

Late Policy

We ask that yoga students arrive at least 10 minutes before class to ensure a spot. Students will not be permitted to enter the studio once the door is closed and the class is in progress. The door will close at the precise start time.

Purchase Policy

No refunds. All product purchases may be returned with receipt within 14 days for store credit. Returns are valid only for products that have not been opened, used or damaged. Any store credit issued will be issued to your account and can be used for all 889 services and products with the exception of the following services: Private Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga or Doula Services. Yoga Intro Offer, 5-pack yoga package, yoga memberships and Special Event/Program Registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable. 5-pack yoga package, have an expiry of 90 days from the date of activation. Yoga Intro Offer has an expiry of 30 days from date of activation. Special Events/Program Registrations are refundable up to 7 days prior to the start date. Yoga Memberships may be cancelled at any time if the request to cancel is received 15 days prior to your billing date. Your billing date is the day of the month in which you signed up. Membership requests that are received after the date specified (15 days prior to your billing date) your membership will be charged for one more month). We accept the following types of payment for auto recurring memberships: Visa and Mastercard. 889 Gift Cards may be used to pay for Body Treatments, Waxing, Registered Massage Therapy and Yoga. We do not accept 889 Gift Cards as a form of payment for Doula Services. We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit and Cash payments. We do not accept personal cheques. Payment for Products & Services by credit card will be processed in Canadian Dollars at the time of payment. 889 Yonge Inc is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates of additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies. 

Liability Release

I agree that 889 Yonge Inc is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I am in the building. I understand that classes at 889 Yonge may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against 889 Yonge or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. 

Terms + Conditions

If you access and use the Web site (the “Site”), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these terms (the “Terms”). If you do not accept the Terms, do not use this Site. All products and services of 889 Yonge Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable agreements governing their use. The Terms are to be read by you together with any terms, conditions or disclaimers provided in the pages of the Site. All services purchased from 889 Yonge Inc must be preceded by the applicant acknowledging, by the way of completing a Health Intake Form, that he/she has no physical limitations preventing him/her from participation. Furthermore, all applicants release 889 Yonge Inc, its owners, directors, managers and all employees of all liability regarding 1) any injury to self or child 2) any loss or damage to personal properties. In order to ensure an appropriate and relaxing environment and experience for all of our Guests, we ask the following for Guests under 18 years of age: that there be one adult per child (under 18 years of age). Children between under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian in the spa during their treatment. The parent/guardian must also provide written consent before any services commence. Undergarments must be worn during all massage or facial treatments for Guests under the age of 18. Children under the age of 12 may not receive a spa treatment without consent from our owner regardless of parental consent. All Guests must keep volume to a minimum when in quiet zones as not to disrupt other Guests. 889 Yonge reserves the right to terminate any service at any point if we feel that the child is interrupting other Guests’ relaxation.

To register or purchase from the 889 Yonge Inc online booking system, you must be over 18 years of age. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

Internet E-Mail - Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium (ie – cellular phones, post office mail), not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration.

Endorsements - No endorsements or approval of any third parties or their advice, opinions, information, products or services is expressed or implied by any Information.
